It is often only after we have confronted our mortality that we really choose to live! As we are unwillingly taken to places where we come to the very edge of our physical lives, so we are shocked out of our unconscious existence and begin to live more fully. Such cataclysmic events help us to understand the fragility of life and we start to bless what we already have, rather than remaining trapped in a constant loop of longing for what we most desire. If we are not brought face to face with our own death, we always know of others who have to fight for their survival or we unexpectedly lose loved ones and then ache in the very vacuum of their sudden absence.
The fear of death keeps many obsessed about life after death, whereas our real challenge lies in living every moment purposefully and taking nothing for granted. Our real focus should be on living a complete life before death, to discover the perfection of life in every moment as life gradually reveals its awesome mysteries.
Our busy lives, burdened by repetitive routines, often numb us to the reality of existence. We unwittingly become automatons on a daily treadmill designed to satisfy what we believe the world expects from us, rather than consciously living out our purpose and making life our dream as opposed to dwelling in "dreamland".
It is time to wake up before life rudely shocks us into awareness. Life is NOW, in this very moment. Make it significant by turning the mundane into the magnificent and by revealing your light as your enthusiasm positively energises everything you encounter.

STEPPING OUT IN FAITH
To have faith is to transcend fear; is to fully believe in an outcome which doesn't yet exist.
Living in a consciousness of faith is to stop fretting about the "how" because of a cultured and innate knowingness that fully believes before manifestation. To live by faith is to positively employ the power of the "super-conscious" mind which is the very essence of creation. We are all architects of our existence, even the parts we refuse to fully own.
Until we become conscious of the devious meanderings of our minds and progressively learn how to harness this powerhouse of energy, we remain victims to our disempowering thoughts which live either in the "unlived" future or in the past, but rarely in the now which is where life emanates. To be conscious is to heighten awareness perpetually and to use all that comes to us as perfect knowledge to produce the most positive results.
Faith is not the rare gift of the masters. Masters choose to train their minds during everyday existence by refusing to be hostage to an unruly mind that gravitates to fear rather than living in the expectation of the very best.
Always choose to be MORE!

MOVING WITH THE FLOW OF RELATIONSHIPS
Life is a constant state of flux where everything is perpetually changing to provide us with opportunities to evolve and become MORE!
People come into our lives as profound teachers to show us aspects of life we need to learn and to mirror important information back to us to enable our development. When we experience difficult relationships, whether at work or play or of the heart, we have frequently found someone who has come to teach us considerable lessons. Rather than being dismissive of such people, we need to discover the purpose of that meeting and only once we have effectively learnt new tricks should we move on.
Relationships that lack vitality and have survived more through passive inaction than conscious cultivation have invariably served their purpose and as a consequence, seem to lack flow or dynamism. Before blaming the other person for this decayed relationship, we need to question whether the atrophy is through taking the situation for granted and a lack of effort. In such circumstances we also need to understand whether we are resisting uncomfortable change by refusing to engage in constructive confrontation to rekindle the effective energy exchange between parties.
When we come into an attitude of self-love, we do things to nurture relationships that make us to be progressively MORE! To love ourselves, we need to constantly evaluate relationships to determine whether people make us to be MORE or LESS. Someone who naturally drains your energy by being overtly negative or abusive or who encourages behaviour that is contrary to growth, is not worthwhile in creating a life of value. These people gradually make us to be LESS and need to be weeded from our existence.
Conscious living provides us with the awareness or knowingness to ascertain who is good for us and who needs to go. This is not about being a selfish "taker", but more about communing with people who share a common vision of making a meaningful life and generating a substantial two-way interaction.
Look carefully at who is in your life and make responsible choices to fashion the best life imaginable. Always choose to be MORE!

WALKING THROUGH FEAR
Nothing cripples nor immobilises more than fear. Fear keeps us prisoner to ourselves. Fear traps us in a cage of false understanding from which we can only flee when we have properly identified the fear.
We all experience fear and anxiety; but how many of us have ever spent the time writing about our fear and fully understanding what it represents. In essence, fear is only an emotion that does not exist in reality. Many of our fears are conditioned from negative childhood experiences or from other traumas which we dread to re-enact. The beliefs that these conditionings create need to be dismantled, because whilst the feeling of fear is real, it is generally not based on truth.
Once we have identified our fears, by writing about them in the most candid way possible, we are capable to start the process of addressing and disempowering our fears. Fear is dismantled over time by having the courage to take necessary action or to walk straight through it every time it manifests. Rather than trying to avoid the fear by numbing ourselves with mind altering substances, we need to consciously step right into the heart of the fear, to realise that over time it doesn't actuallyexist.
The more often we do this, the more we start to change our thinking and to create new neural pathways to more effective thought.
Like the "firewalkers" who walk barefoot through beds of red-hot coals unscathed, "firewalk" your fears and take back the power that is rightfully yours. Don't allow your life to be compromised by being passive about something you can change by taking charge progressively over time.
Always choose to be MORE!
