Every human problem emanates from a lack of self-love. Whether the issue is around destructive addictive behaviour, dangerous risk-taking associated with greed or remaining in relationships that do not serve, or any other situation that has the potential to make us LESS!
We often incorrectly believe that self-love is evil, narcissistic or selfish. Self-interest and self-love are not the same because self-interest is dominated by an over-zealous ego, whereas self-love has no foundation in ego at all. Self-love is a reverence and respect for Creation and only entertains practices that make a person to be MORE.
When we engage the philosophy of being MORE, we are practising the very essence of self-love and fulfil the purpose of life which is to grow.
